Wonderful Light Warriors!!

We appreciate and we are very grateful for your patience! 

As we mentioned in our last Update, we were awaiting the funding verification from Kickstarter, which has now been authorized and we have finally received the green light from Backerkit to start the survey process. They suggested that we send a smoke test, which is an initial send to 5% of our backers to make sure the survey and any questions concerning your shipping info and item preferences all aligned with the way the survey is set up. So some of you should have received notifications to the survey, and we will move through sending to all backers until we have all required information to get you your SEEUS95 masks!!

Please let us know if you need help or if something is not clear. We want this to be easy for you so that is why we are using Backerkit the setup process is tedious, so hopefully this will be a smooth transition to our fulfillment center, once inventory lands.  

Manufacturing:

We are in our second set of testing with our  proprietary bio-filter (mass-produced filter) to MIT Lincoln Labs and have our first mass produced silicone masks to test and refine. We will send some images soon, as we are waiting for the holiday in China to end before our manufacturers can ship to us for testing.

Light Warriors!!!!!

It's only been a few days and we miss you already, we just want to keep you informed of things. So bare with us as we continue to share information. 

FULFILLMENT: 

Many of you have been writing messages, asking to add extra masks or add-ons, you will be able to do this once we send the survey from Backerkit!! As we mentioned in our last update, we are still awaiting Kickstarter to verify funding before we send out the Backerkit Survey. Here, you will be able to add on items and anything you may have forgotten.  (So this is one of the features that drew us to using this particular platform, we wanted it to be easier for you.)

This will be the time you share all your shipping info, select sizes, color preference for filters, ADD-ON items, extra masks, etc. We will then connect all this information with our warehouse, that will already prepared for receiving inventory and will be packing your orders. 

Some of you had an alert concerning your CC and may not have completed your pledge transaction. If you got an alert please note after the 7th day after the campaign ends, (if your card did not go through -transactions that failed) --KS will try again, so you have time to correct your information. TESTING:

Big Shout Out to Lalitha,from MIT Lincoln Laboratory, for her hard work, her energy, and kindness. It has been a productive experience working with everyone at MIT Lincoln Lab and AFFOA. They have been extremely proficient with testing and with their interest in our proprietary filter material. We had our next mass produced filter material -testing series scheduled soon, but due to the lab's hold on funding, they said we had to wait till October. However, they reached out to us this week and they are very interested in learning more about our filter material, so they will push us forward earlier than expected. YAY! 

CONTINUING ON IGG INDEMAND: 

After the campaign ended this past week, there were many who reached out to say they missed the KS campaign and wanted to order.  To keep the momentum going and to keep growing this amazing community of Light Warriors, we will be moving  to Indemand soon to continue cultivating and sharing our innovation via their marketplace. Rest assured, that you as our first and kindred light warriors, you are our priority and you will be delivered your orders first and foremost. The Indemand backers will have a pricing structure at a higher price point and their delivery will be after all your rewards are delivered as well.  Once that goes live we will let you know.

BEWARE OF SCAMS:

We have filed a patent for SEEUS95 and we are the original and only company that offers the real deal. Some of you have read UPDATE 2#, where we announced that there were fake shopping sites that copied  images from SEEUS95, claiming to sell our product for very little cost. THESE ARE SCAMS, they will not send any product or they will send you a totally different product. Thank you to Daniel for alerting us again that there are fake shopping sites advertising on FaceBook, they have taken our images without our permission. The best way to battle these fiends is to spread the word that SEEUS95 as the authentic and original company.  We have also designed a logo into the mask so that the SEEUS95 is embedded into the silicone.  Dearest Light Warriors!!

The beginning is never the beginning and the end is never the end. We can't believe it's almost over, just 3 days left!! The challenges to creating a new innovation has been a tremendous effort and we are deeply indebted and so grateful to all of you for your support, questions and suggestions for making this the best product it can be for you. We are hoping you all will still be just as engaged while we move into the survey and mass production process.

SURVEY:

We tried to send out a preliminary survey. Both Kickstarter and Backerkit will not let us send the survey out until the campaign ends. Apologies for any confusion, as the last time we launched a campaign we had to send out the surveys before the campaign ended. KS now has a stipulation that all pledges are confirmed and funding is verified before sending surveys. We were too eager to establish inventory counts, and will have to wait til the 21st to send out the surveys. 

PREPARATION for MASS PRODUCTION: 

As we have been sharing in the past updates, fine tuning the ergonomics, detailing, and fit testing by 3D printing in Hard ABS material for design development and details. Please note, we are not satisfied yet with the details, so we are revising again, until it meets our high standards. With multiple detail revisions, we are very close to having this ready for mass production. We also have secured BioFilter N95 material  and washable material filter for mass production and undergoing testing of the mass produced filter materials for filter efficiency. 

We continue to  revise the positioning of the filter locations as well as the form. Working with face mask manufacturers and consultants experienced in the field, we are making sure all the details are ready for the mass production injection mold.    We are making sure the details stand up to our high standards.   Also note that the nose bridge will be flexible and adjustable in the final silicone material and the adjustment to nose bridge size will be adjusted higher or lower by adhering the STL layer to the surface of the nose. 

 The STL layer:  Extended longevity solution for everyone. Our testing with washing and reusing the material for the STL layer has been for approx. 6-7 months of washing and reusing daily, we have recommended in the comments and FAQs that with proper care this should last about 12 months or longer. The STL layer still has the adhesion function after multiple dishwasher washings using liquid dishwashing detergent.  We are currently working to incorporate your suggestions for the longevity of the STL layer by developing a roll-on or a replaceable STL layer.  Testing has already started for this and are trying different variations of applied, STL which can easily extend the adhesive quality and skin pampering quality, to ensure this upholds comfort, material and design standards, this new feature will take more time to develop but we are confident we will be able to offer this soon by the time we are ready to ship, hopefully before then.
