SEEUS95 LIGHT WARRIORS!!!
We had to share another video in light of the trend lately, and didn't want to disappoint any one.
There was a question about heat by a few of the light warriors, so we did this short video, (This is not scientific test) We tested to a blue flame, the material between the KN95 polypropylene mask material vs the silicone shield material of SEEUS95. Both materials were positioned approx. 3cm from the blue flame, the stove top is a gas fired flame. Please note that due to the silicone being clear it may look as thought the mask is tilted horizontally but it is actually tilted perpendicular and in the same direction and positioning as the KN95 mask. We had a fire extinguisher near by. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME, this is for demonstration purposes only!
Surveys: BackerKit vs Kickstarter After review of BackerKit guidelines, Chris was correct in his comment that the BackerKit survey recommends waiting 14 days to make sure everyone's charges have been verified. We will hold to that recommendation, but also send out a preliminary survey with Kickstarter to get a preliminary count of add-ons and inventory needs.
We apologize for any confusion, and we thank you in advance to help us monitor the inventory needed for mass production MOQ (minimum order quantity)
Beards:Chris and Obsidian asked for a man with a beard to demonstrate what Matilda had demonstrated in the last update. We have been getting volunteers in our neighborhood to be in the videos and we are trying to find the right person but their beards are not long enough. We kindly ask for your patience, as we are still looking.
Sneeze:
We also had Phillip request a video of someone sneezing. We researched how to make someone sneeze and the suggestions did not work. So we ask again for your patience, and will try to post a video with a fake sneeze as an alternative. Perhaps we can combine the beard and the sneeze video in one.

OUR NON-Profit Partnerships:
We have always started any endeavor for the purpose of helping people. With Solight we were able to impact may impoverished communities that had no power grid (impact delivered over 100k solights to PR since Hurricane Maria 2017 with our NGO partners). We even went ourselves to Puerto Rico right before the lock down to deliver to the victims of the earthquakes near Ponce. With SEEUS95 Chloe, has already started vetting possible nonprofits that we will donate our masks to.
Here are some of the nonprofits on the short list.
1. This is a not-for-profit organizing providing medical care to New Yorkers. They work with a lot of underserved communities as well. They also have a medical mobile van that they drive out into the community to provide medical care. A medical mobile van might be in need of transparent masks: https://www.chnnyc.org/about/
We are in the process of vetting these organizations so there is no definite partnership as of yet, but just wanted to inform all of you that we will always hold true to the idea that we can all make a huge difference by small acts of kindness and sharing the light.

LIGHT WARRIORS!!!
We have two videos to share:1. Macor's curiosity inspired us to do this video for him. 2. Another video of putting on and taking off the SEEUS95 mask, with our volunteer Matilda.
We're inspired by your curiosity and your enthusiasm; we're almost over 2600 light warriors, and it would be great to get over 3000 light warriors!! We continue to be vigilant and can't wait to see you on the street, in the classroom, at the store, with your smiles and faces seen again!!
Special shout out to Jeffery KM, KnockNrod, Fearlessleader, Anke, Mary Catharine, Gary, ChristianH, Wu Rob, Debra, Brigid, Chris, Bob (Robert), Gene and all the light warriors for their comments, questions, and especially their patience. We work very hard to answer everyone's questions in the comments section.
OK, Macor wanted a video of someone with an N95 mask next to someone with the SEEUS95 mask on and talking. This was a difficult and tremendous effort, due to the 16 year old having a new man-cave in his room and refusing several times to be on camera! We finally were able to entice him with the plea for the greater good of the world.
Please note the mask here is a prototype and does not have the anti-fog coating yet. The final mass produced version will have that integrated.
NEW VIDEO: PUTTING ON AND TAKING OFF THE MASK
We added this video and a couple new photos of Matilda, who volunteered to help us, to our campaign. Matilda is a high school student in NYC with a passion for STEM, and she also lives in our building. We've known her since she was very little, knocking on our door every once in a while to bring us cookies. We told her about this project and she was here in a heart beat. We will be starting a mentoring program for future inventors and Matilda will be our first candidate. We encourage women and especially girls to be fierce and fight with their light to look at the world as an opportunity to help solve problems, realizing most of the problems are already problematic solutions. Anyone who has a little one who loves science, art, creativity, and making things knows that small acts of encouragement can make a huge impact (but, we know we don't have to tell you that, cuz you're already light warriors).
The tattoos on her mask are from the Option 1 Tattoos which are now an ADD-ON. Please note that she was not asked to hold her breath, and she was not paid to be an actor. The mask shown does not have the anti fog coating yet and your mask will definitely have that integrated.
Fulfillment:
We have started to integrate the items of the campaign to the Backerkit system and should be sending a survey out next week around the 15th-16th to start getting everyone's orders verified. This will be when you can check the options and add-ons, extra filters and bags, shipping address, etc.

OK YOU WONDERFUL LIGHT WARRIORS!!!
It's just two weeks left??!! Have to check our excitement meter, cuz it keeps goin up!
We are blown away by your enthusiasm and we bend the knee to all you light warriors; there was a torrential down pour of comments and suggestions about the carry bag and the tattoos, which was honestly a very inspiring point in this campaign for us.
So some people wanted to know if we had stretch goals and honestly we think this is a marketing strategy that we would rather not do. We would rather appeal to your intelligence, your commitment, and your light to to work together to strive better than imagined, and just share the ADD-Ons as opposed to dangling a carrot. Cuz this good idea, is no longer ours, it now belongstoYOU. The value of your investment increases the more we all share and we keep growing together.
BIG THANK YOU and shout out to everyone, Brenda, Macor, Bob/Robert, Chris, Jane, Obsidian, Emilie, Gene, Judy, Yuri, Noelia, James, Hel-DC, Julie, Mindy, Ivonne, Alan, everyone who participated in our option's venue from our last Update, we're not just friends now, we're a small gang.
Also BIG shout out to CHLOE (from our internal team) a real warrior on the SEEUS95 frontlines. Chloe worked with Solight two years back and when she heard about SEEUS95, she wanted to volunteer to help, we're so grateful to her for all her dedication, perseverance, and spirit; and then there's SANG who is also volunteering for us, he has been the design mastermind, modeling in 3D-Rhino and working to improve and enhance the detailing of the ergonomic changes/revisions for all the 3D printing that is being done.
We are still working on the video for Macor, where one person is wearing an N95 Mask and one person is wearing SEEUS95, we will post something in the next update which will be soon.
Barbara, messaged and had a good point that we should clarify that the washable filters in tandem with the mask offers better protection than the cloth mask, due to the air tight seal, the cloth masks have gaps at the nose bridge area. So the efficacy of the Seeus95 mask with the washable filters are better than the efficacy of just cloth masks.

Plastic packaging material reached a total of 14.5 million tonnes as the second most significant material. This demonstrates two clear surfaces, placed over a cup of steaming hot water. The one on the left has no coating and the one on the right has anti-fog coating.
As we have stated, we are integrating the anti fog coating for the mass produced units you will be receiving. But in case you need to add extra anti-fog for the mask or anything else, we thought it would be good to share these links for home remedies for anti fog. It looks like shaving cream and old fashioned toothpaste won the challenge when put to the test.
